Day 01
Upon Arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your Hotel in Entebbe for the night. Check in and dinner. Meal Plan (B & B)
Day 02
Early rise at your hotel, check out and drive Through Mityana road enroute Fort Portal. Continue into Kibaale National Park and Check in at your Lodge. Lodges include Primate Lodge Kibaale, Kibaale Forest Camp FB.
Kibaale Forest National Park is Uganda’s premier chimpanzee tracking destination. The Park protects over 766 square Kilometers of predominantly forested habitat that extends more than 50 kilometers south from the main Kampala-Fort portal Road to the north East boarder of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 03
On this day, after early rise at the Lodge and have your breakfast. After the pre-tracking briefing, you will either walk or drive to the trail head for the start of a sensational chimpanzee tracking experience, hiking in the footsteps of the habituated family of chimpanzees. After briefing from the guide, you will set out to encounter the chimpanzees. The Tracking experience takes an average of 3 hours.
Upon sighting the chimpanzees, you will spend an unforgettable one hour with them as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, grooming, taking care of their young ones, howling and screeching, in their habitat.
After the tracking experience, you will return back to the Lodge for lunch and later enjoy a guided afternoon walk through Bigodi swamp. This wetland offers some of the finest birding and Monkey viewing in Uganda, the swamp walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is an admirable example of conservation and tourism. In Bigodi swamp, you can be able to identify more than 40 bird species in one walk.
On this day after a meal at the Lodge, you will check out and drive to your Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park (90 kms 1hr 30Mins)
Day 04
After your breakfast, your guide will brief you on the day’s activities and then you will set off for the morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park through both Mweya peninsula and the Kasenyi Plains where you will be able to see animals like the lion, Herds of elephants, antelopes, the elusive leopard and many mammals, Bird and reptile animal species. After the game drives we head back to the Lodge for you lunch.
Most of Queen Elizabeth comprises open grassland and savannah with tends to get woodier and moister in the west. The Park also incorporates substantial areas of papyrus swamp around lake George. QUENP supports at least 95 mammal species, the highest recorded in any Ugandan National Park.
After lunch, you will take the scenic boat cruise on the 33km long and 2-3 Km wide Kazinga channel. On this 2hr boat ride, you will enjoy excellent wildlife viewing, you will be able to spot elephants, buffalos, water bucks, Hippos, water monitor Lizard, crocodiles and many other animal species. Later head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your Lodge (FB)
Day 05
On this day, after your breakfast at the Lodge, your guide will brief you about the journey and you set of for Entebbe. The journey should take you about 6 hours Along the way, you will have a stop over at the equator for a photo opportunity and also to buy souvenirs. Later arrive in Entebbe and end of our service.
